A blend of dynamic acoustics and shimmering dream pop, made in Salzburg — since 2023, Chris Kalcher has been shaping his solo project, delivering melancholic moods wrapped in catchy, powerful arrangements. Driven by past emotions and inspired by heartfelt jangle and bedroom pop, he released his debut EP “An Homage To Hour Waltz” in 2024. Since then, his sound has continued to evolve, marked by gentle synth textures and dreamy vocal harmonies. Rooted in honesty and introspection, his music captures the subtle strength of vulnerability. While his songs are recorded independently in the studio, they unfold their full impact live with his band — inviting listeners to drift into rhythmic, atmospheric soundscapes.
